Mr. Popkin has more than thirty years experience in the architectural and building industry, including 5 years in the roofing and sheet metal trades. His time spent in the construction field allows him to blend architectural creativity with practicalities of construction methodology. Alan’s understanding in all phases of architectural design and construction administration services give him the insight to tackle complex projects for a variety of corporate, medical, research, and manufacturing clients.

Alan is a strong communicator with equally strong process skills that result in the streamlined management of sophisticated and time sensitive projects. His service oriented nature and team approach promote efficient project evolution, from the programming and conceptual design phases through the final closeout. At ahp Architects, Mr. Popkin strives to educate his clients, promoting innovative, environmentally sensitive designs and material selections. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and carries architectural registrations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Texas.

As Director of Architecture at ahp Architects, Inc., Michael Kelly provides strategic leadership for the firm’s architectural practice, establishing design standards and ensuring technical excellence across all projects. He guides teams from conceptual development through construction administration, fostering a disciplined, collaborative process that delivers thoughtful, high-performing design solutions. Michael’s comprehensive understanding of construction methodology and building systems enables him to successfully manage complex, detail-driven projects with confidence and clarity. He is adept at navigating technical challenges, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining momentum through demanding schedules. Throughout every phase of work, Michael remains focused on aligning design decisions with each client’s operational goals, budget parameters, and long-term vision.

With a Master of Architecture from Boston Architectural College, Michael brings deep expertise in building science, exterior envelope systems, and sustainable design integration. His clear communication style and strong organizational leadership promote consistency, accountability, and quality throughout each phase of work. Michael is a licensed Architect in Massachusetts, New York, California and holds NCARB certification.

Corinne Maleski is the Director of Interior Design at ahp Architects, Inc. Her passion for problem solving, innovative space planning and color technique all contribute to her ability to bring commercial interiors to life in a new light. With over twenty years of architectural collaboration experience, working across the US and abroad, Corinne recognizes the dynamic connection between building form and functional interior design. Her insightful and timeless approach has resulted in numerous successful projects for life science, corporate, commercial and retail clients.

As a LEED Accredited Professional, Corinne is well versed in the latest materials and technology for efficient and green design.  With longstanding discernment, she guides clients through the daunting task of deciding which specifications will best serve them long term. Her ability to reimagine space using distinctive color, texture and specialty lighting is especially appreciated by clients who desire dramatic transformation. Corinne graduated Magna Cum Laude from the CIDA accredited Interior Design program at Samford University. She holds NCIDQ certification, the national standard for Interior Designers in the United States.

As Lead Project Manager at ahp Architects, Inc., Alicia Markey brings extensive experience managing complex, highly technical projects across life science, laboratory, and advanced manufacturing environments. With more than a decade of hands-on leadership at the firm, she plays a critical role in guiding projects from early planning through construction completion, ensuring alignment between design intent, technical requirements, and client objectives. Alicia’s expertise in laboratory and high-tech manufacturing facilities includes overseeing intricate, cleanroom and controlled environments that demand rigorous coordination and precision. She is highly skilled at managing multidisciplinary teams, navigating regulatory requirements, and maintaining control of scope, schedule, and budget on technically demanding projects. Her thorough understanding of operational workflows allows her to anticipate challenges and deliver practical, high-performing solutions.
