Integer – Battery R&D Center

ahp Architects was selected by Integer for the relocation of their battery research and design center in Beaverton, Oregon. The build-out totaled approximately 26,000 square feet. Program elements for the project included multiple engineering and Maccor Battery testing laboratories, complex machining areas, as well as general office environments. Challenges on the project included the reuse of existing HVAC equipment to meet Class 100,000 “Cleanroom” requirements and specific cooling loads required within testing environments, as well as complex electrical distribution throughout the space.
